I'm not inclined to defend eumaas on much of anything anymore, but, really, it's apparent to me that there wasn't any intent on his part to deceive people in that false quote. It was done to illustrate a point. I'd say just move on and/or use the "Foe" function.

It's been common practice on here for a long time. I believe it was introduced by rcs or Wolter. If you actually read the board, you'd know that.
