And Chisel doesn't ring a bell. I would have bet one of Olaf's kidneys that he was on the Wire tribute album Whore or A Houseguest's Wish but nope. This is mildly annoying because it's strange that I immediately recognized the name and thought I knew the context, but nope, not at all.

IMCT has always hated Ukrainians. Even more than we hate Mick.

Only Buckingham/McVie have been hated more.

It was Tom bait. And he was the only one to like it.

Some people liked the verses and some people liked the chorus. Only me and Tom liked both.

I would guess the main point of that "rule" is that if you're just lurking, nobody will know that you want to post 5. Commenting on the 5 keeps you in people's minds as a participator so they can nominate you to go next (or however the hell that's working).revbob wrote: ↑20 Sep 2020, 9:41amYeah as long as there's sufficient posting of 5s and people commenting on said 5s.Heston wrote: ↑20 Sep 2020, 9:29amYeah, but some might say it would be a bit ungentlemanly to burst in with a list after not commenting on anything. But I don't give a shit to be honest.

Paranoid Visions – Catchy beginning. I’m not a fan of the gang vocal, however. A bit too shouty. This feels like a song I could like if there were a few tweaks, but ultimately it doesn’t leave much of an impression. 6/10.
Ted Leo – I really dig this one. Sharp and smart. Great chorus, nice guitar solo. Vocal feels a little rushed at times, but overall a good song. 8/10.
Bellrays – Powerful! I really like this one. Music is fast, aggressive and catchy. Her voice is fantastic. 8/10.
Gogol Bordello – Interesting. There are some cool things going on in the background, different instruments and sounds. I liked it better with each listen, but I don’t think I’ll ever be a fan. Vocals leave something to be desired, but there is definitely energy to the whole thing. 5/10.
Adjusters – Sort of a combo of Stax soul and ska. I like it. The music is tight and the vocal is muscular and powerful. Backing vocals are a little generic compared to the lead. My only complaint is that the song gets a little repetitive after a bit and the whole James Brown schtick at the end is kind of old. 7/10.

I didn't hate it. Musically very interesting and packed with energy, but the vocals sort of lost me. A little too shouty. I think I gave it a 5 out of 10.
