I also realized the other day that "The Olympian" (Skids) and "To Be Someone" sound pretty similar.

Adamson was an admirer of Weller. So I expect it's a deliberate steal. I remember seeing Big Country live when they first stared out and Stuart would always sing the opening line from Boy About Town then launch into Fields of Fire.
