Jesus, I fucking hate that song.
Only decent one both him and Noel have done since they broke up in my opinion.
Holy Mountain by Noel is the only thing I've liked by them since the split. Liam's voice is a drag.
Is that the one that sounds like it's ripped off from Plastic Bertrand?
Yes. I didn't like it at first but it really grew on me.
Yeah that's not too bad that one.

I like the tune and the unusually energetic Noel vocal.

Wish we could play that live but no matter how hard our drummer tries he can't sing and play it at the same time. I told him Topper could have done it, much to his frustration.

You always have a good list spoilt by one Smooth FM song.

There's nothing wrong with "There Ain't Half Been Some Clever Bastards" ;)

I personally can't stand The Living Years. It's so cliched and cloying. That line "when my father passed away" is just so literal and unpoetic. I can see why it resonated with people but it is so artless to me.

Totally get that, I like it more from a melodic point of view, the chorus is simply lovely. Always thought that line was too literal as well. Funnily enough I thought you initially referred to the Heart number.
