Thanks for your reviews tep much appreciated. I love "Village of the Damned" and agree it deserves it's classic status.

Rogue One was on tv this afternoon. Missed the first 45 mins, but, damn, I'm amazed how much more I like it with each viewing. I wasn't that high on it when I saw it in the theatre, but it punches all the right buttons (better than Last Jedi, which works similar terrain). I might even go as far as to say it ranks only behind Empire and New Hope.

It’s the best new one. It is removed enough from the Guiding Light soap opera shit that is so pukey about the canon garage. Good flick.

I love 'em all—even the prequels—even when I know some are pretty shitty (i.e., prequels). I can stand aside and be critical, but in the end I love every fucking SW film because I've been sold on the concept for over 80% of my life.

My mid-life crisis is about letting go some kneejerk cynicism. Kinder and gentler as I slide into my dotage. :ugeek:

I understand entirely. I used to occasionally be a cunt to people when I found out they like Elton John, Midwestern pizza or Dane Cook. I keep my mouth shut now. If something makes someone happy then they should be happy.

I'm now the same way. I've become internet friendly with some fellow listeners of Sirius XM Volume, and a lot of them have, shall we say, interesting taste in music. But I've been nice and not snobby about it! I don't know what's gotten into me.

That's fine. They're too stupid to let that hurt them.
