Saw The Specials last Saturday. Great show.
I saw them last night at First Ave. Brilliant show.

Encore songs were:
1. An instrumental that I did not recognize
2. Ghost Town, with a superb extended ending
3. You're Wondering Now
Do they not know the chords by now!

That set list came from Terry's music stand, seen in Briggy's photos, and which he also used at the show I was at on Friday night.

I believe he also had lyric sheets there, as he would be shuffling sheets of paper between songs and was glancing at them occasionally throughout the show.

I was also struck by how much Terry vaped, sometimes between every song, sometimes after two songs.

His voice was fine, though, and Lyndval's was even better.

Cool! The first encore song is “Breaking Point,” which is on their new album. I did a video above.

BTW, Steve Cradock was not with the band at Friday's show.

Terry introduced a guitarist named Jim, I believe, and said that this was his first time playing on stage with the band.

So, a mystery...

Interesting. I wasn’t aware of this.

Saw some photos of Steve Craddock rehearsing with Weller who I think has dates starting from this weekend so can only think it must be a contract thing?

Other than the facial he's looked the same for years now.

They still exist? Huh. I owned the first couple records. Solid but I can't imagine them being anyone's favourite band.
