The boots are good but The terrible Lack of drum Machines and synth horns shows What a waste of Talent their first 5 years were.

This is the one where Joe has the dodgy lead in his guitar, a bugbear in an otherwise great show. Cheers Marky, added to the queue.
Is that what that sound is? I thought it was Mick's effects that were causing the noise.
May i suggest that you do a 'Bernie' and replace Joe's guitar with a synth?
Hey! you can cut the crap. ;)
I'm just worried that you are going to take them up on these suggestions.

Not a synth but I might replace Joe's guitar with a balalaika, yeah the biggest balalaika!

Next up another of the Music Machine gigs. I have to mention a thank you to Laxman who provided me with a longer version of this one and the previously posted one from the 4th. Cheers mate.

Minor comment that the cover says 79 not 78!
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Fixed thanks.

Shame that's the only comment.

I haven't had a chance to d/l any of the latest crop, but hoping to fire up the home computer and engage in a little Clash bliss this evening, thanks in advance Marky (and I'm sure I'll rave when I get a chance to start listening too       )

Cheers Flex. I'm not having a moan as everyone is being cool and saying thanks. I was kind of hoping these remasters would start a bit more conversation after listening. Discussing the songs the sound Joe's in between song banter and performance etc.

I'm way behind on the remasters as I don't actually get that much time to listen to music with work, band, family commitments etc. I also like to listen under laboratory conditions, not a quick blast through my laptop speakers. I will definitely catch up though.

Yep I understand we all have busy lives mate. I only mean once you've had a good chance to listen. I wonder if we could have a live listening party once a month?
