If they can pull in someone from Stryper or Dokken, I think they're ready to open for Chickenfoot.
I just looked up Dokken for shits and giggles and...nope. They’re touring, so they had to back out.
Theres too much of a market for shit hair metal these days.
Full confession: I came up with a whole bunch of shitty metal bands from the 80s for my example, then looked them up on Wikipedia—because I care that much about my dumb snark, people!—and they're all still doing the corn dog state fair circuit, so I said fuck it and still went with Dokken as one of my picks (because I don't care that much about my dumb snark, people!).
I was in a coworkers car recently. Hes got satellite radio. Some Ratt song from 198-whatever comes on. Hes a 20 something and hes like "hey you must remeber this song from back in the day, is that what you were listening to?"
I hope you were smart enough to dissolve his body in acid before disposing of it in the woods. The murder was just, but the law isn't.

My full confession for the day is I actually saw Korn live back in the late 90's and I can make no excuse for it.
To the 90s thread with you!

Basic bar band rock, not punk (not even almost).

It's got the same amateur values and quiet desperation to it. Or I could be drunk.

I vote for "or." The quiet desperation is only among those who can't stop the video or hit mute.

This is ingenious reverse-psychology for getting popular opinion to buy into the Drug War. :hmm:

Invictus, a publicly traded corporation described as "a Canadian cannabis, vaporizer and fertilizer producer."
Perhaps they figured they needed a true shithead to promote the brand.

True story: in college I took a music appreciation course and the textbook used Kiss as their sole example of a punk band.
