To be clear, I'm not trying to be anti-Run For Your Life as a song. I just think it's pretty understandable why some people would find it a bit fucked these days, is all.

It's actually a great little rocker, toon wise.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Does it trigger you, snowflake?

(No, I can't post that by itself even ironically)

Not as much as Black Panther triggers Ben Shapiro, I don't think.

That was one bizarre rant, just oozing of anxiety that black people might enjoy a fantasy of being superheroes for a couple hours. You there! Stop being hopeful and entertained! It bothers me!

I think that we are also looking back on it through the lens of John Lennon as a person. A person who was a shitbag to women. If he didn't have that reputation, I don't know if we would be having this conversation.

I'm guessing "Something" will be #1—I've never quite understood its classic status, but that's not the first time—but off-hand I'd go with "And I Love Her."

Ha!

I remember seeing McCartney live back in like 1994 and there were a bunch of evangelicals outside Milwaukee County Stadium handing out pamphlets about how Lennon was some sort of Antichrist and I kind of just wanted to tell them they had the wrong freakin' Beatle!?

I mean, I would have understood if they were protesting "Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" because that actually is an abomination (sorry, Inder), but, yeah.

I was mistaken — the full length version is only 4:18, but that means you can play it back to back sooner!
