What I dont understand is why they dont run this stuff by a native speaker so they can get it right. I saw so much of thus while in Japan and when reading technical documentation intended for english speakers.
Now theres always the chance that someone is giving them bad info. I used to work with this guy who would tell our foreign counterparts it was traditional to followup greetings and thanks with the phrase "blow me" when interacting with another man.
