Yeah, heard about this. I think there's a CD/DVD package coming in December/January of an earlier gig with Wayne Kramer instead of Mike Ness and Tommy Stinson in lieu of Glenn Matlock. Sounds a more exciting lineup to me.

A bit sad that Lure is the only surviving member of the original L.A.M.F. line up. Not surprising, but sad.

I've seen Lure play several times over the years, he can be hit or miss, just like the Heartbreakers. I saw this particular show with Wayne Kramer, it was good but only for the nostalgia. Nothing can replace Johnny. I mean Cheeta Chrome is touring with a version of the Dead Boys, pretty sad but he's got to make a living and I've seen him play solo, it was awful.
Edit, I live just across the street from Bowery electric where all these gig happen so I'm there all the time, I think it's owned by Jessie Malin.

In the UK, the CD is out...the DVD on Dec 1st. In the US, the CD and DVD (also sold separately) will be released on Dec 8th. Thinking about getting the DVD.muppet hi fi wrote: ↑27 Nov 2017, 9:24amYeah, heard about this. Looks like Tommy did a bad impression of JT...

Interesting. Jesse is the support for Brooklyn, Solana Beach, and San Fran.coffeepotman wrote: ↑27 Nov 2017, 6:40pmEdit, I live just across the street from Bowery electric where all these gig happen so I'm there all the time, I think it's owned by Jessie Malin.

What do you get when you cross Glen Matlock's vocals with Mike Ness' vocals?
Fucking Eddie Vedder.
Walter and Clem have more easy charisma in their toenails than Matlock, Ness and Jesse Malin combined. Goddamn but Malin looks ridiculous.

Unfortunately, no. No one can replace JT anyway, so I wouldn’t compare.muppet hi fi wrote: ↑10 Dec 2017, 7:21pmDamn straight. Walter and Clem are rock solid. Glen did great considering he just came from an Australia & New Zealand tour...not much time to rehearse. I don’t think Mike’s voice is really suited for the L.A.M.F. songs, but I think he did great vocally for “So Alone.” Great guitar playing, too. I think Jesse did great as well...don’t see him looking “ridiculous.”

Shit, Little Steven himself should have done the gigs instead of Ness. Much more appropriate vocal style and attitude, and plays guitar just like a-ringin a bell.
