Can't find a link to it, but her new thing with her younger sister Barbara Streisland, 'For Lovers Only: A Tribute to Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music', is great and side/movement 4 is totally rad. Especially the locked groove at the end when Babs hits that high C note.

I listen to this song every time the cops come to my house because I casually mentioned to the neighbors that I'm deep-cleaning dried bodily fluids from the freezer in the secret underground annex to my backyard toolshed again. I like this song best because she doesn't sing and there's no music.

Funnily enough I've heard Woman In Love twice this week after not hearing it for years. It is pretty awesome.

I don't like her voice much, but Hello Dolly and the Kenny Rogers duet are fine. My wife's a fan.

I love "Enough is Enough" - her duet with Donna Summer. That's about it.

What? You don't like it? Sure, Babs seems a bit out of place sometimes, but her sis Barbara Streisland is all over it. Very poignant stuff.

EDIT: and only the Fuckin Shit Biscuits make the Fuckin Shit Biscuits sound like the Fuckin Shit Biscuits, maaaaate.

Well of course Streisland is good but not a patch On her cousin Barbara Streisand. She has a voice like gravel thrown on top of tarmac. Makes Tom Waits sound like Karen Carpenter.

Exactly, and that's what I love about cousin Barbara - so different from Barbara Streisland and her massive screech - so fitting for the album - and Babs' sensual bombastic shrieking. Gotta have those counterpoint tonalities going on in a project like this.
