Fats Domino (R.I.P.) Top 5.

That is one saturated photo.
No one else has offered up a top 5. IMCT hates rock 'n' roll!
Fats is one of my cultural deficits. I don't have enough knowledge to muck in, I'm afraid.
Yeah, I know the songs that are considered classics, but that's it.

Never go pre-1964, that's my advice. :shifty:
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

God, I'd forgotten about this one. Heston, you're a gem.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Like a rash that seems to finally be clearing up and then, blammo, you're scratching and cancelling dates and hating life all over again.

I only know the first 3 songs on Marky's Top 5.
I'm Walkin' is great. One of the best early rock and roll songs.

Don't forget your exception of Blueberry Hill. Plus I expect every great rock n roll tube had been written pre '64. Everything after just owes a debt.

Hell yeah. Unfortunately (for me) I'm not real well versed in his entire catalogue, so I just chose the real obvious ones (laziness :naughty: ).

So when you gonna get to Mink/Willy DeVille already, mate? :naughty:

Willy died in 2009. But sure, I'll give it a go (and, like all my guest slots, have one response. Probably only from your own bad self ;) ). Gimme a shout as a reminder, mate. Pretty busy/stressed about my new living situation.

Of course will do mate. I know Willy had left us just my poor taste joke on getting a top 5 these days.

No worries mate, not like he was a household name anyway. Lotsa well known peeps die and sometimes you think "I assumed they were already dead".

And anyway I just dig him cuz he was named Willy - and spelled correctly! (with a 'y' and not 'ie')
