I actually like Rod Stewart's voice. Often great on the Faces stuff.
I’m not a fan but his voice does work well on some songs just not all. Have to say it has got less and less appealing over time (like Tina Turner).

Late 60's early 70's Rod is great but then....

Still we got this out of it...

I remember watching that as a kid and the whole family not being able to breathe for laughing.

It's good to finally get over what is cool and uncool and focus on the qualitative aspects. Good job, Millennials.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Xers already assessed their quality. That's why Toto and their ilk were rejected.

I like the word "ilk." I also don't mind "Africa," by Toto.

I hate Journey.

It seems like only the people who were around when it was first excreted hate it. Society has failed to impart the lesson to those who came after. :disshame:

Yep. It's an abomination. The "Summer Breeze" of the 80s.

Ix-nay on the ummmer-say eeze-bray. These dang kids will champion anything that seems like avocado toast selfies.

Meh, it has a funny little synth sound and a decently effective hook. I don't sit around and listen to it all the time but I don't go apoplectic if somebody else does.

I do hate avocado though.
