Now is the time, now is the time for your friendship to end
Be it your sister
Be it your brother
Be it your cousin or your, uncle or your lover
If you have a racist friend
now is the time, now is the time for your friendship to end
Be it your best friend
Or any other
Is it your husband or your father or your mother?
Tell them to change their views
Or change their friends
Now is the time, now is the time, for your friendship to end
So if you know a racist who thinks he is your friend
Now is the time, now is the time for your friendship to end
Call yourself my friend?
Now is the time to make up your mind, don't try to pretend
Be it your sister
Be it your brother
Be it your cousin or your uncle or your lover
So if you are a racist
Our friendship has got to end
And if your friends are racists don't pretend to be my friend
So if you have a racist friend
Now is the time, now is the time for our friendship to end
Goodbye

I grilled myself a burger, had some frozen yogurt, and now I'm sucking back a few glasses of Shiraz.

I like turkey but ground turkey is not a suitable substitute for ground beef.

I disagree that this is an example of being picky. I prefer the term discerning.Kory wrote: ↑10 Oct 2017, 8:13pmThis board is home to the pickiest eaters I've ever encountered.

I don't think "ground turkey isn't nearly as good as ground beef" is a crazy stance.revbob wrote: ↑10 Oct 2017, 8:45pmI disagree that this is an example of being picky. I prefer the term discerning.Kory wrote: ↑10 Oct 2017, 8:13pmThis board is home to the pickiest eaters I've ever encountered.

Background: my wife says i eat too much red meat. I like making meatballs so I thought I'd try some ground turkey instead. They not only looked kind of anemic they just didnt taste too good not nasty just pretty unexciting. Maybe I need to do something more to improve the flavor. Im open to suggestions.

Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
I find the major problem with ground turkey is the same with boneless, skinless chicken: not enough fat, so it gets dry. You can reintegrate a little oil before cooking- it's still fat, but a lot of cooking oils are at least a little healthier than animal fat.revbob wrote: ↑10 Oct 2017, 9:35pmYeah I didn't think I was xourting controversy when i said it.Wolter wrote: ↑10 Oct 2017, 9:01pmI don't think "ground turkey isn't nearly as good as ground beef" is a crazy stance.

Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
Even just using some olive oil spray or something can help on that front. I usually cook with turkey skinless chicken breast and such. Healthier.
