One of the best albums ever made.
New Boots and Panties 40th

Agreed. Not sure there is enough new here for £60 though!
Re: New Boots and Panties 40th
Trouble with this one might be that it is described as an Amazon exclusive.

Another great album with too many reissues. The only stuff on there I don't already own is the Paris Theater gig. So hardly worth the asking price for that.

Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."

Very nice but I can't justify the price tag to buy it.
Has Phil Jupitus got a full time job writing sleeve notes and book intros?

So he's got good taste. You can't fault that. He loved The Members also.101Walterton wrote: ↑03 Sep 2017, 3:37pmAnd The Specials and Madness and every band I have read a book about or bought a reissue box set latelyMarky Dread wrote: ↑03 Sep 2017, 9:54amHe's a huge Blockheads fan.101Walterton wrote: ↑02 Sep 2017, 7:52pmVery nice but I can't justify the price tag to buy it.

My weekend reading just arrived from the Book Depository (excellent service) and I was surprised to see only 50% of the books had a foreword by Phil Jupitus!Marky Dread wrote: ↑03 Sep 2017, 7:16pmSo he's got good taste.
