Yeah I've seen that in my Netflix feed or something. Might give it a go. I don't have too many shows I'm watching at this point other than the Preacher and for some reason the Strain (i guess im hoping the kid does a gorrible death). Im guessimg he will to sort of redeem himself for being such a dick.
Preacher is my fucking fave, and I love Strain also, though I've yet to start this season. Saw ep 3 of Fargo, the LA one, this season could be shaping up to be the best. Wife and I are predicting Emmys!
Ray Wise makes everything better.

The robot story/cartoon is heartbreaking.

Yeah I enjoyed the Harry Conick Jr joke they slipped into Preacher last night. I haven't seen s1 of Cargo in a few years and I did enjoy s2 as well but s3 is my favourite MEW kills it.

Tho I've heard about it since I was a kid, I've never seen The Kentucky Fried Movie until now. It isn't funny. At all.

I remember seeing it all the time at the first video rental store my home town got (VHS and Beta selections!). I can see its significance for later movies like Airplane!, with straight-lined comedy and light parody, but it was just lousy on its own. Lotsa boobs but no laughs.

I was too young when I first saw it. Then I rented it in high school and jerked off to it a few times. Haven't seen it since then. I just remember Catholic High School Girls in Trouble and the news cast scene at the end. And a probably offensive Bruce Lee thing where they get sent to Detroit as punishment.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
