Good advice, of course, but I immediately noticed that he's wearing woolies. On both topics, he and I finally agree.

I'l be back! I'll bide my time, let the world rest easy, and then my dreams of a maple syrup empire will become reality. Then, oh yes then, IHOP and Denny's will bend to my will.

Thanks, eh. It was an even worse clusterfuck here in Justinville. People lining up for four hours to get onto Parliament Hill, only to learn they weren't in the right line, mainly because security didn't know anything either. Plus thunderstorms that kinda pissed on the fireworks. A lot of very disappointed tourists. In its own way, they got an authentic Ottawa experience, one dominated by Kafkaesque bureaucracy. My intolerance for crowds and lack of nationalist spirit kept me way the fuck away from it all, and for once my angry grandpa spirit was validated.

This commercial has been running on one of the sports channels, so I see it all the time when I watch baseball. It is so goddamned dorky that it's finally won me over.

I've been known to knock back a few milk stouts while playing softball. I don't think I've had a glass of straight milk though since my early 20s
