Had I known he would do that, I would have voted for him.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Also, I'm finishing off a bottle of Gibson's rye, tho I'm modest enough to know I'm no champion.

I'm hoping that tomorrow brings an end to the dogfight that has been going on in my skull since I woke up late yesterday afternoon.

I miss truth in advertising. If you drink Jim Beam, you'll look like Bette Davis. They won't admit that today.

The boss was out at a lady friend's place with some other lady friends and one of the group bought some alcoholic root beer called 1914 Racinette. She had one and hated it so she gave it to B to give to me (because I, apparently, have no standards and will drink anything). It's nothing I'd ever buy, but it's drinkable. It's odd, tho, because at different parts of the drinking, you can taste either the beer part or the root beer part. If I had ice cream, I'd make a float.

My wife and I did a father's day brunch at an over priced Foo Foo joint. I figured I'd at least have a beer or two. Well the entire list of 10 beers was either some form of IPA or Saison. Millenials and hippies ruin everything.

I hate this problem, it's everywhere. IPA is boring as hell.

Upscale joints tend to be more wine focused anyway.

This is definitely more of a beer joint, Vermont foo foo in the hippie sense. In the past they've had some good selections.

Saisons are great if you don't like more hop forward beers. Of course if they are barrel aged saisons, that's a totally different spectrum.
