My hair started greying in my 30s. Worse, tho, my dislike of shaving more than every four or five days combined with a whole lot of grey and white in my beard means that by day four I look like I should be carrying a bindle and scouting for railroad dicks. I easily become five to ten years younger on days when I shave.
I've had people tell me I look older when I shave.

I've always believed Doc should be scouting for railroad dick.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Scouts are necessary, but he should pay more attention to the railroad dick stats.

I was born a Joe Morgan hobo, I'll die a Joe Morgan hobo—incoherent and convinced Billy Beane wrote that book about hobo code.

Yeah but what about his intangibles and how does he perform in clutch situations.

The important mission is his search for that railroad dick.

Less a mission than a calling.

I believe the Latin term is "modus operandi."

I believe the hobo symbol is two x's over a kitty cat. (Two x's under a kitty cat means the lady there will give you free pie if you sing her a hobo song.)

Extended interview with Norm Macdonald: http://www.vulture.com/2017/06/norm-mac ... p-snl.html

I disagree with a lot of what he says re. politics (no real surprise there), but his observations on the mechanics of comedy are worth thinking/arguing about.

Holy crap was that uncomfortable to watch. His eye twitching and hesitancy (to say nothing of his assessment of Trump) made him, um, really unpersuasive.

Good read. If you haven't seen Merchant's Hello Ladies, it's excellent.
