When you are in a fancy hotel bar and a bunch of 'stars' come in straight from the stage they make sure you know them!!!revbob wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 7:26amHow'd you know who they were?101Walterton wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 5:30amWas in a hotel bar last night with Icehouse, Allan Parsons Project and Bonnie Tyler!! I didn't think I did but sadly after looking her up I am aware. I much prefer ignorance in this case. My cousin and his wife had declared that one of her songs was "their" song and I was forced to sit through a wedding video that had that song in the background.101Walterton wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 2:29pmWhen you are in a fancy hotel bar and a bunch of 'stars' come in straight from the stage they make sure you know them!!!revbob wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 7:26amHow'd you know who they were?101Walterton wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 5:30amWas in a hotel bar last night with Icehouse, Allan Parsons Project and Bonnie Tyler!! It gets used a lot during NBA games, when introducing the players.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 5:11pmBack in the 80s, there was some sports highlights show that used APP's "Sirius" as its theme song. Picture downhill skiers wiping out and majestic interceptions in dramatic slo-mo.

Girls don't want to date SRPs, but they will marry them?Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑30 Jan 2017, 7:47pmWhen I was 13 or so, I learned to like APP's "Eye in the Sky" because a girl I was ineptly pursuing loved it. She, of course, just wanted to be friends and I was stuck with this weird acceptance of mediocre soft rock. There's a moral in all this somewhere.k
