In LA, huh? Remind me a few weeks before.
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

Actually the surviving members of the Clash read the script before they gave us permission to use their songs.
Trust me, I am a huge Clash fan, and the most important thing for me was to make sure it would be true to The Clash.
It's a gritty musical and is nothing like the vapid, generic fluff of American Idiot or Rock of Ages.
It was written by my wife and I. I grew up in the UK, my wife is the daughter of a welsh coal miner.
Part of the Cast are British as well.

So, don't judge something you haven't seen or heard.

I was joking mate, I hate the "Joe would be turning in his grave" cliche.

Good luck with this, I'm all for spreading the word of the Clash in as many ways as possible.

If we can find a theatre company to do it, I will.

This is all self financed so far.
My choice was, get my teeth fixed, or get the musical on the stage this spring..

No contest.

No worries.

I've been trying to find a theatre company in the UK that would like to produce it.
No luck so far.

Best of luck. If there's a way to post some scenes, I am sure we would love to see it.

Try Berkeley Repertory Theatre in Berkeley. The venue also happens to be 3 blocks away from the Berkeley Community Theatre, where The Clash played their 1st American gig.
