I assumed it is like Tep says once he meets a board member he feels the urge to kill them. Apparently you're the only one to escape this fate.

If I forgot anyone, sorry. I met a few Strummervilles.
I'm still here, bro! Just less internet time than before.

My tally is Tep, Teddy B, Gil, Kory, Flex (2x), Wolt, Spiff (2x and he even met J9), Inder, and Maj. My parents are moving close to Eummie, so I'm hoping to do that meetup soon.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Not sure that would stand up in court....but you haven't heard form Kaleb in a while, have you? :shifty:

Not that it's a competition or anything, but IRL I've met:

Inder (God)
Wolter
Hoy (x2)
Flex (x2, and will ski with him in April 2017, and also go to a concert by The Damned with him in Denver)
Purple Hayes (Rob, R.I.P.)
modskin
BR16ADE_R055E (Gil)
Marrdar
Heston

I almost met Doc when he and B were driving from Saskatoon to Ottawa, and they would have spent the night in Spiffsville but they begged off because their two cats were puking in the car and they didn't want to inflict that on me and the long-suffering Mrs. Spiff.

And I would have met James when I was in London for a week in 2014, except that our text messages didn't go through.

And finally, I'll be at LAX for an 8 hour layover in mid-February, so maybe I'll pop out of the airport and have some noon-time drinks with tep ... :shifty:

He does eerily resemble Charles Manson in real life. :shifty:

We may need to rename the other thread from "I saw Tep today, a little worried about him... " to "I saw Tep today, should i be concerned about my safety now...

Hey Spiff I might get to your area around springtime.
Cool.

Give me a shout out if you do.
I had the honor of dining and drinking Ethiopian beer with Spiff this evening. This makes 3 meets, Flex, Beaneater and now Spiff.

Ha!

I wore my oversize B.A.D. hat so Bob would recognize me when we met outside a local music club. It's the first time I think I've worn it it public.

Anyway, good times last night.

Bob's a top bloke.

Well I've had better and I've had worse. I was initially intrigued by an Ethiopian stout that was on the menu but they were out of that. The owner of the restaurant gave me a bottle of the 3 types of beer they did have. My eyesight is starting to go south so I couldn't read the labels very well nor recall their names. One seemed like a wheat beer light and a bit cloudy looking. Somewhat spicy sweet. The other two would fall under the generic mass produced lager/pilsner variety.

The food was good and the company was excellent, it has already been noted by several board members that Spiff is a cool dude.

That's 3 board meets for me now; Flex , BBE and now Spiff.
