Day 17: Booker T & The MGs - Jingle Bells

Year: 1966

I bought the Sundazed reissue of this when it came out a few years back- great record. A few Booker T Christmas cuts also appear on the seminal Original Soul Christmas compilation.

Mike re-recorded this 1977 unreleased Beach Boys song and released it last year. It's... surprisingly good.

Released a year after Surfin' Bird, this garage rock classic is woefully underappreciated imho.
