Being someone who believes in freedom of speech and enjoys the random and variation of opinions and thoughts, i thought it was better in the days of old when you didnt have to register to post an opinion. The website has seen a reduction of visitors since.

Besides when there is finally one topic that was worth talking about no one took the face on mars topic seriously especially as the face was clearly of Joe Strummer !!!!

The internet's changed since then, though, we'd be overrun with spam trying to sell you viagra and trainers if you didn't have to register. And Facebook really has eaten the day of the forum. People searching for Clash talk will do it in Zuckerberg's search bar, not Google.

Ha ha yes i did understand why the change had to be made. I was just observing that the conversation was more varied and fresh back then. Not that i am saying anything is wrong with the conversation today but the forum was just more supportive with new and fresh posts.

I guess what i was saying is, that the website is a victim of its own success. Plus SM is totally right about the additional choices posters have with other social media as well.
