I'm sure the books are much better but the movies are fine you might like them, sort of a dystopian science fiction story about resistance to govt oppression. Many of the characters in the ruling class have a penchant for garish clothing and hairstyles.

Apparently Randy Quaid plans to stay in Vermont and wants to be a fireman. And while his wife was in prison one of the other women threw shit at her.
