I remember we had rabbit ears that extended out to some ridiculous length, like 4 feet or so, and were always sliding off the TV if the volume was "too loud"...

Another Battlestar Galactica observation: It's obvious that the Cylons can track the fleet because they keep on meeting up with them. So why the fuck don't they order several of those quasi-Death Stars to just crash into the Galactica and call it a war. Ta-da! Do they have to worry about draining resources or satisfying Cylon public opinion? As machines, they are always on a suicide mission, so get it the fuck over with. (Strictly speaking, the Empire was also unnecessarily hamstrung in its commitment of resources. Stormtroopers exist to be killed so kamikaze them as a basic strategy.)

Kids have to learn somewhere, you don't want them picking it up on the streets.

Hey just finished Broadchurch last night that was pretty good. Apparently there is an Americanized version that was on Fox this past year. Don't think it would be worth watching at this point unless they really changed the story around.

I hope it's a show about picking up broads in church.

I just binge watched Marco Polo on Netflix. Lots of brutal violence and nudity. Tep may enjoy it.

Apparently no one was watching The Nightly Show, which is bullshit cuz it was fucking great. I never missed a single ep (thanks to DVR)

Just saw notice of the cancellation. I quit watching several months ago (the same time I quit the Daily Show; John Oliver is the only one of those types of shows I watch now). I really liked Larry, but as soon as he brought the other cast members to the panel, the episode just died. They were neither funny nor thought provoking, and I couldn't be bother to tune in just for ten minutes.

I watch Oliver all the time, he's just talented enough at the job to make it worthwhile. And I like getting pissed off with him too.
