The episode where Inder is on a walking trip and seeks refuge in a castle inhabited by sheperds. The sheperds are keeping Michael Alt prisoner and he tricks
inder into setting him free. This allows Michael Alt to run amok at IMCT causing the shutdown in 2008.

I just watched "Mighty Casey", the episode where one of the pitchers on the baseball team is a robot. Needless to say, I thought it was a bold vision of how all baseball should be played.

Watching these episodes in order on Netflix makes one appreciate the sheer number of stories that were more or less about a well natured husband just trying to find some way to escape his overbearing, materialistic, bitchy wife. :shifty:

I've been stockpiling episodes of Boris Karloff's Thriller on my DVR. A local UHF channel shows them once a week, I've seen more than a dozen and have about 8 more ready to go. They are very good. The stories range from supernatural to gothic to noir and/or comic murder mysteries to period pieces, you name it. A lot of them are written by Robert Bloch, and actors include William Shatner, George Kennedy, Leslie Nielson, John Carridine, Mary Tyler More, Liz Montgomery, Ursulla Andress, and many others you'd recognize from Twilight Zones or Gilligan's Island. Boris gives the intro and occasionally acts. They're an hour minus commericals about 42-44 minutes. Perfect for before going to sleep when you're too tired for a full length movie. I recommend.

When I was a kid, I liked re-runs of the Twighlight Zone so much I began searching for similar shows. I eventually found the Outer Limits and Tales of The
Unexplained which was hosted by Boris Karloff. I've never heard of the series Thriller, I'm going to track down some episodes.

This year's KTLA Channel 5 Twilight Zone Thanksgiving Marathon had a curveball, as for the first time they inseted 4 Outer Limits episodes, which I recorded. I assume they chose the 4 best, because of the two I watched, "I, Robot" was very good, but "The Sixth Finger" was possibly the best Sci-Fi Anthology episode I've ever seen.

Ones I've watched recently that I liked.

Rich good ol' boys club. One guy is a loudmouth, another bets him that he cannot speak for a year. They lock him up in a glass room where he can be observed. Turns out the bettor doesn't have the cash after a year.

Kids have lousy, arguing parents. They can dive into their pool and enter an alternate world. Kindly grandmother type looks after them.

The previously mentioned Agnes Moorehead episode where the saucer lands in her attic and she fights off tiny spacemen with a broom.

Speaking of the Outer Limits, I wouldn't mind if the Sci-Fi channel ran an Outer Limits marathon this year instead of the Twilight Zone. I've seen 99% of
the TZ episodes, but only 55 to 60% of the Outer Limts.
