Wolter introduced me to The Venture Bros, almost the perfect show for anyone who's a cartoon/comic nerd, music geek, and snarky asshole. I'd venture (pun intended) to say it's as quotable as The Simpsons in its heyday.

The music references in that show get me every time.

I've seen one or two, and while I liked it, it didn't stick for some reason.

Rusty: I want to tell her that I love her but the point is probably moot.
The Monarch: Are you reciting "Jesse's Girl"?

Yeah, ditto.

Louie's pretty awesome and I'm sort of getting into Ugly Americans. Never seen/heard of Children's Hospital.

It's one of those 10 minute shows on Adult Swim. Rob Courdry, Ken Marino from the State and Party Down, one of the Human Giant guys. It's a parody of hospital soap operas it's hilarious.

I think the whole series is on youtube

Louie rules hard. Louis CK; easily my favorite comedian. I like his stand-up more than his shows though.

Louie and Archer are shows everyone seems to be recommending these days and I've liked what I've seen of both so far.

I've heard tons of great comments about Breaking Bad and Walking Dead, but haven't watched any episodes yet.

Louie's first season kicked ass. I thought the Walking Dead was perfectly cast and well acted but I didn't like the storylines as much as the comics themselves.

I like Louie too, but I haven't seen it in ages

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I can vouch for Breaking Bad, it's simply brilliant, but you have to be sure to start at the beginning.
I think Archer is fantastically funny, too.

I thought the Walking Dead was excellent.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Jon Benjamin Has a Van.

Literally just found out about it a few hours ago from one of Eric Wareheim's tweets. Brilliant comedy show with very funny comedians, Eric being one of the guests.
