I like the Who's 80's releases. "Face Dances" has at least 6 quality tracks out of 9. "Its Hard" is a good album except for the
boring opening track, and that terrible song "I've Known no War" which sounds like the '80's Who trying to sound like the '70's Who
and not even getting close.
As far as the 70's stuff, Quadrophenia is brilliant, one of my favorite albums.

Loved it when it first came out however seeing it again recently (despite Phil Daniels ) it was pretty cringeable.
I was referring to the soundtrack.

The Who = PWNage.

Although I haven't heard much after Keith Moon's passing.

There's a few good numbers after Keith's death ('Real Good Lookin' Boy', 'The Better You Bet') but nothing amazing. Keith made the Who amazing.

All I've heard is You Better You Bet & random snippets from Who documentaries.
I read the lyrics to RGLB once, they were nice.

Best Album : Quadrophenia or Who's Next

Quadrophenia is one of those albums you need to own on vinyl especially when u get the book inside the gatefold when you open it.
It even sounds better on vinyl
Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."

I mean, it's good. It has some great tracks indeed, I love Go To The Mirror for example. But I don't see how it got so popular.
I don't like the Tommy album, the mix is terrible and there are only few songs on it that are decent imo. Didn't they play
it at Woodstock? That probably boosted sales of the lp.

I took my ma to see the Who back in 2000 or so... One of the last outings before The Ox died, and definitely in the top 3 shows I've ever been to.

I was/am a massive fan, especially when I was more inclined towards the lifestyle my username suggests.

I'd kill to see The Who but it's far too expensive. Ridiculous money.

If you can swing it, I hear they still put on a pretty good show.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
