Matedog wrong.
Well, you're not that wrong, 101W. But you are pretty wrong. Weller sure does suck, post-Jam.
Compared to The Jam most things look poor however Style Council had some great moments, Stanley Road, Wild Wood...
Style Council had some *good* moments early on, but solo Weller is wretched.

And somehow the topic doesn't involve 70s Kiss. :shifty:

The fact Weller got it horribly wrong after they parted company shouldn't be ignored.
Look at it the other way, what did Foxton and Buckler do after The Jam you Freak.
That reminds me of the time I went to see SLF when Foxton was making his debut on bass. My mate kept shouting "freak" at him and I think Bruce was getting paranoid in case he didn't mean the song.

No, I'm kidding.
He had the third best solo album. How come the lead singer's was the most wretched of the four?

Third best? How the hell do you rank something so terrible?
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

Peter Criss has brought male breast cancer the recognition it deserves. Grope your moobs, fellas. Grope 'em till they're hard. The third-best solo artist in Kiss implores you to.

Peter Criss's solo album was a bit jazzy actually, proper swing beats and all that. Also incorporated a bit soul and R&B. Kiss were musical chameleons if you scratch under the surface.

Well, not by people with taste, no. But Gene did/does alright with chicks stupid enough to be impressed by Kiss.
