It's very high on my "Things to Do Before I Die" list.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

The top line reads WRONG. Under the W 12 is a Hootie album; under the G 54 is a drunk forty-five year old former mail order bride from Singapore …

That is lessening these days.

I was impressed that someone posted on this thread at 5:50 PM, and then you go ahead and spell everything right...for shame!

Good thinking bumping the thread to the forefront, so people don't have to go looking for it though.

You should have come to Binny's with us today. Had an anejo that was ALMOST scotch-esque.

So jealous, between my job and family I have returned to the straight edge lifestyle I abandoned as soon as I hit 21.

I love a good anejo. Picked up bottle of Patron Anejo (yeah, there's better stuff out there, but when Patron is on sale you're a fool not to pick up a bottle) yesterday, tasty stuff.

It's not really a big deal to anyone but me, but I finally found fucking Tennent's Lager again. I know it's pretty much "Scottish Budweiser" but I fucking love the stuff, and for some reason it's as rare as hen's teeth in the States (or at least, the areas of the States that I've been to).

I love Binny's. Great liquor store. Good selection all around, decent prices on the whole ($45.99 for 10-year Laphroiag, Mr. maas), and they often give samples. I had the aforementioned anejo AND tasted 6 different wines while there (about the equivalent of 2 glasses). Ali is actually still a little drunk (but she has a really low tolerance).

I love when you can find a store that has both good selection and good prices. Sorry, got you beat on the Laphroiag 10-year tho Wolter, I picked up a couple bottles for 33 bucks a piece yesterday.
