Any good vintage t-shirt reproducing sites/sellers?

Post by Chuck Mangione »

One that will reproduce this shirt specifically?

I really, really, really like this one. For some reason, I prefer band t-shirts to not have the name of the band on them, and instead cool art or pictures on the shirts. I think it's because if I wear a band shirt I want someone to come up to me and say how much they also love them, not just read "The Clash" and say "The Clash! Sick shirt man; good band." or something like that, and then walk away.

So is there some way for this shirt to be me remade?

Oh, and this one is not a "vintage" one by the way.

I've known of this site before, but never checked the Clash shirts out. Have to say, I liked quite a few now that I looked, the Belfast one is real nice. Also like the ironic London SS shirt.

edit: grammar

That is where I saw the shirt, which I found through looking and searching stuff in google images. The product just leads to a "sixfeetunder" records with no results. :meh:

Nah, what Mick needs is a baseball cap for next month.

Without white denim it means nothing.

Great site. A lot of good shirts there. Not quite what I've been looking for but still good.

not much up now, but there's no harm in doing a Clash T search on etsy from time to time. I haven't found a Clash one that grabbed me, but occasionally someone produces a really inspired silk screen and runs it there until it gets taken down for copyright reasons. I have been without a Clash shirt since my old longsleeved LC mysteriously vanished...
Conan: Did you like the Clash?
John: No. Isn't that good enough? No, no, no.
Conan: Oh Come on, elaborate. Why, did you guys think you were trying to do different things?
John: Well, their kind of songwriting really was just a few quotes from Karl Marx around a merry little melody.
Conan: With a driving back beat that just wouldn't quit!

Hi Chuck,

I'm an artist who designs t-shirts, skateboard decks etc.

I could have a go at remaking it for you? And also making it available for sale?

One Love,

Graeme
