Beatles Rock And Roll Music

Post by Olaf »

I probably already made a thread about this at some point.

Used to have those on vinyl and wonder if anyone here has got the CD release (only available as Japanese import I believe)?

I forgot about this one. Originally it came out as a full-price double, and then was re-issued soon after of EMI's cheapo label 'Music For Pleasure.' History seems to have been rewritten as it's generally stated that The Beatles' catalogue has been premier priced material throughout. Wrong! This proves so.

There was an MFP release of "Live At The Hollywood Bowl" around the same time too.

I have the Dr. Ebbetts version on CD if you're up for a trade.

Why not just send the lad a copy. I'm sure he would be more than appreciative.

This might be close to what you want.

Also, that site has that picture of the Beatles that went up for auction recently, from the earliest DC show - when they was fab. Amazing picture.

-- well, it turns out that the bootleg is of alternate mixes... but that could be nice too.

Wow. Took the thread two and a half years to garner some replies.

I'd be happy to trade if you're still around, js.

Can't say I'm a huge Beatles fan but this one brings back some good memories.

Thanks again, js, hope someone could help you out with the Clash upgrades.
