While I love The Last Post, I think the mixes on a few songs run a little long. So I did an edit on "The News", my favourite song on the album. Think of this as the single version!

"The News" was an obvious choice for an edit. I love the energy of the song, but it takes too long to get started with that guitar noodling at the beginning, and then the momentum gets totally derailed when it shows up again half way through the song. Finally, I figured it needed a BAD-style sample at the start, so I found something suitable on YouTube. I've done the same thing with Strummer's "Generations".
I've also done some extended mixes of "Bankrobber / Rockers Galore", "One More Time", "The Call Up", and "Armagideon Time". Haven't got my mitts on any Clash multitracks, though.

Want to note that this is excellent. C/S was always a fun little project, but I think this edit hints at a little bit more it could have been with a little more self-discipline. Well done.
