I'm writing a Xmas special for the show with a great tentative cast. We'll see how it goes.

Re: Rotten Hill TV
Not this episode. Simmo has already filmed a musical bit. He's got an acting role in the one that'll probably be done in January. The Xmas show has a great cast of guest performers, plus MJ and Rotten Hill. Julien is directing. The hope is to release it online Xmas Day.BR16ADE_R055E wrote:Does the tentative cast include Simmo 'n' Tops?TeddyB Not Logged In wrote:I'm writing a Xmas special for the show with a great tentative cast. Re: Rotten Hill TV
Our Kinky star bailed last minute to do Jools Holland so Julien is now filming only the musical sequences tomorrow, leaving the narrative to be done TBD for a revised episode next year. Sigh.

Does this mean Ray Davies is performing or not? I'm not the brightest

Sorry, Oliver, for being too coy. He's not performing tonight.oliver wrote:Does this mean Ray Davies is performing or not? I'm not the brightest
Re: Rotten Hill TV
thanks... I wasn't sure whether he was supposed to do something in addition to the usual musical stuff.

I sometimes wish Mick would quit messing about and make a real solo album with real musicians in a proper studio. Humbug.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Mick covers the entire Wham! songbook. Him doing Wham Rap would bring Joe back from the dead if only to kill Mick.Flex wrote:The NEW Wham! featuring Mick Jones. Re: Rotten Hill TV
There's an interview somewhere from the original BAD days when Mick says "Wh'appens next is what we're interested in"
For about 3 years I thought he was saying "Wham's next is what we're interested in"
Maybe I was right in the first place.
