Don't be expecting anything like the version we all know and love. The only similarity would be the lyrics.
Before Mick heard White Lines.
I trust you're jesting as White Lines was a huge club hit before Mick had even left the Clash.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Maybe he meant the Duran Duran cover? :shifty:

Topper's fingerprints are definitely all over them, it seems to me. It would have been interesting to see what could have happened if TRAC had been pursued.
It's a shame they didn't use any Headon co-compositions on the final album. Even if he wasn't in the band, a few royalties from something as big as TIBAD would have done him a lot of good in that period.

I dunno. Royalties might have killed him...

Yeah, I don't think a lack of money caused him to be a junkie.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

He spent the advance for his solo album on drugs, IIRC. And sold his drumkit, guitars etc.

In all the commotion today, I forgot to mention how much I loved the new tracks that were uploaded. This band coulda been a contendah.

I'll have updated flac and mp3 downloads tonight.

Ditto, Jewlter.
