Not keen on the first track, but rather enjoyed the Inconvenience of Truth.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but are they still using that infernal drum machine when they're meant to have a real drummer?

The C/S website says these tracks were actually recorded in 2006 and just released now. So, that would explain the drum machine.

Haven't listened to 'em yet - got my Dennis Wilson groove happening now. Mayhaps later I shall give them a spin on the 'ol magic computer box wherein noises come forth.

What?
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Ah, I see.
I'm looking forward to hearing some tunes with the full band playing, rather than Mick and Tony with a drum machine. I really liked a few songs off The Last Post, but they were hamstrung by that artificial beat.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I give these songs a 2.5

The second one is a bit stronger than the first, but nothing that blew me out of the water.

I've just found out Gary Kemp from Spandau Ballet guests on these tracks. Why do I find it hard to write the next line.....

Well to cut a long story short, Mick was in communication with Gary and thought his musical career could do with a lifeline, Gary agreed and told Mick it would be a pleasure to play with Carbon/Silicon and the collaboration should produce some pure gold, Tony just got exited and danced round and round, Gary told Mick he was the better guitar player but this left Mick feeling a little raw and he could be heard mumbling how many lies must I take, Mick wanted to punch Gary but hardly being musclebound he just shouted at him I'll fly for you, Gary replied your just highly strung, oh yeah you say that only when you leave replied Mick, I don't need this pressure on said Tony, well it looks like we'll just have to fight for ourselves....yeah so true said Mick.

These were okay.

I'm still waiting for their next album called something dot com with the song "Don't Tase Me Bro!"... I'm guessing that article was a joke?

If that's not a real song they're making, I am canceling Christmas.
