Many thanks for this (& other stuff) I thought I had the majority of CS stuff, but this seems to be definitive & no doubt will be better quality.

I'm glad people are getting to hear these tracks after such a long wait. Very underrated in my opinon. I wish Mick and Tony would work on some new material. Even if it's a new project.

I wholeheartedly agree, I never really found out why they stopped making music as CS.
If you listen to Carbon Casino they seem so into it. Anyone with any thoughts ?

Marky,

You did it again. You showed the world how much the record companies are holding out by giving us so much.
You had me at the first 4 discs, which I have wanted to listen to in their entirety as far back as I knew they existed and never expected to actually get to ever hear.
Everything after that is a delightful bonus.

Cheers!!!

Mr Dread thank you for curating another audio treasure trove.
This set is a welcome reminder of what Mick and Tony achieved and the DIY ethic that punk originally championed.

I can't see Tony going back to C/S while Generation Sex is viable. Although we might see some Generation X reissues. Hopefully, Kiss Me Deadly and Valley of the Dolls. There must be an archive of demos especially for the last line up including Terry Chimes.

Generation Sex isn't a permanent thing though. Especially as Cookie has The Professionals and they are touring.

Mick is always involved in something though.

I thought c/s was over and has been for years. Mick enjoyed all the free and easiness of the band and giving the music away for free etc and getting the instant feedback from the fans through forums . Of course the live gigs was a big plus as well.

I thought as soon as it became a bit more of a commercial adventure Mick started to lose interest. IMO only, you can see/hear Mick not so enthusiastic in interview when Tony was pushing and expressing the interest of selling the albums and merchandise. It was after the 2 albums released through record companies that Mick stopped. It was all Tony that wanted to make it more of a commercial adventure

I did say earlier Marky so i will say again just in case you missed it but thank you very much for the C/S stuff its really brilliant and up to your usual very outstanding standard. Anything that good is worth saying thank you twice for  Just brilliant.
