Sorry about that, sack the spell checker!
Can you sack the same guy twice.🤣
I don't see why not!
But we're you re-employed?

were, not we're. Did I pass the test?

Anyway, the edited tracks sound great. Thanks as always.
No you only passed the IMCT test. The Marky test is way more tricky.

Glad you're enjoying them.

Nowhere near all the way through this, but what a brilliant reminder and refresh on one of rock 'n' roll's greats enjoying a blast of primary colour, energetic creativity. The hooks will live forever, the messages are on point.

The whole be nice to one another message and the enjoy life while you can message shines through these tracks.

You can literally see the grin on Mick's face as he sings "As Good As It Gets". Love it!

Absolutely! One of the many gifts of this collection is to be able to hear songs that I'd missed previously or paid little heed to because of where I was when they came out. Hearing music from the mature Mick Jones that's new to me has been a joy in my life since I was a teenager, with the buying of Clash CDs happening only slightly before the original downloading of Carbon/Silicon mp3s for my little USB player being done on the school computer because I didn't have the internet at home. Remember those days, he said in his best Peter Kay voice?

Grooving as I type to 'Be Good To Yourself,' the lads were on the self-care tip well ahead of the curve. And the edits! Logical as fuck, and knocking down one of the barriers to returning to this band. If I fancy stretching out with them (which isn't always necessarily in a rock/pop context) I can go back to the originals.

Thank you Marky, excellent work on the edits! I've been listening to a 10 song CSI comp I made 20 years ago, I haven't heard most of these songs for ever. Some good tracks there.

I saw them when them came to NYC, they were good, a little inebriated, but having fun onstage, you could just see the chemistry between the two of them. They also did "Cut Across Shorty" from the Faces.

Eddie Cochran via The Faces & Rod Stewart. Was the B-side to "Three Steps to Heaven". Was on Rods "Gasoline Alley" album.

Obviously the boys were big fans of The Faces. I'm just listening to a live show and Tony sings "Reason to Believe" Tim Hardin via Rod Stewart.

I saw them in Atlanta and MJ talked about working their way through a barrel of Jack Daniels they picked up at the factory in Tennessee. I think they might have been a little inebriated for the rest of the tour.
