Kool aid album

Big underrated album . it´s a general opinion to say that B.A.D.I is better. surely .but this recording has real gems, and is a step forward in innovation , with great bass lines, and good lyrics, fantastic version of in my dreams for example. much better than the second one,

Now we're really struggling!
Having two attempts at making what was essentially the same album really set the wrong tone for me.
Then there was the SISOSIG / Levi'is thing. And the reliance on the original band's material live...
Dress it up in as much Stussy as you like, it was never going to be great.
I'm still quite fond of Innocent Child though.

Agreed on all that though I'm not that fond of Innocent Child. Kool Aid sounded a bit amateurish in places for me. Some high points but quite a few lows.

Right, we paid for and album( The Globe) with only one interesting song on it.(Green grass), Levi´s thing was awful. Stussy hats were awful too but I think that many of Jones best´s songs are in the diferents B.A.D.´s incarnations and were diluted by different factors,but it´s the price of being a pioneer .

You're right, the Stussy thing was awful too. But that didn't really fit my point!
I don't think much pioneering went on with BAD II at all.

I always pick Kool-Aid over The Globe. They're the only 2 BADII albums right? Higher Power was "Big Audio" and then it was back to Big Audio Dynamite for f-punk and Entering a New Ride.
Therefore Kool-Aid is my favourite non-classic-line-up BAD album

I think you and I are in sync when it comes to BAD. The first two albums are pretty much perfect, the next two show some slippage but are still worth the price of admission, and then after the original line-up it gets pretty patchy.

I think they got progressively worse... but with Kool-Aid the good heavily outweighed the bad but the opposite it true for Entering.

It's not that different but worth hearing. Certainly better than Entering a New Ride.
