five alive is definitely Audience, no trace of FM in the spectrals
but supposedly Swedish radio did tape it - not impossible they often taped acts but only aired 1 song
they taped bowie in 76 but only aired life on mars?

pestering them is on my list after Hong Kong & Guehno :-)

sadly the only Clash II boards in circulation are give em enough dope & Guehno 85
are all Nicks board tapes really trashed or was he just covering himself, whats the source for pouring rain on TFIU?

Nick, if you read this, please leak your soundboard tapes, theres a million ways to do it anonymously now online

just emailed Vince about the radio thing

Five Alive is 100% soundboard, as you can tell by the nearly inaudible crowd noise and the super compressed mix. Paris is another SBD from that tour, as is Providence and Hartford, but both of those are iffy.

Did you make any progress unearthing some info on any of the above?

I just listened to GEED again for the first time in a long time – it would be so great to have a full Clash II show in really good quality!

Have you checked out the remasters I've been doing. Plenty of Clash (II) shows.

Thanks, I have! Awesome work.

I mainly meant it would be great to have some pro recordings really good soundboards of Clash II. Perhaps the full tapes that resulted in GED will surface one day, on a series of anonymous Australian bootlegs
