Clash minutiae

Clash minutiae --

At the end of Charlie Don't Surf, someone goes "go home, go home!"
At the end of One More Time, Joe starts into another verse before the song fades: "if you can remember, the days of long ago..."

Joe actually shouts "gung ho gung ho" at the end of Charlie Don't Surf.

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

That's like the Twilight Zone where Dean Stockwell turned Japanese.

Dean Stockwell beat off in a Twilight Zone episode?

I'm pretty sure Tep meant to say "That's like that dream I had where Dean Stockwell turned Japanese."

As Cool Under Heat is fading out, Joe says something like "You can, you can...cool under heat." It is mixed way louder than his vocal in the rest of the song, but it is fading out so it doesn't matter much.

Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
