Mine is almost done. We get a little more work done every day. I've become the Brian Wilson of delta blues. The thing is a fucking behemoth of stitched together instrumental sketches and vocal affectations. The one thing I will say is that there's no danger of it falling apart, just continually getting delayed until it's perfect.
Let me know when you absolutely need my parts.
We're getting there. Maybe Wednesday sometime 2017
It's on Matey now. This 2 minute slice of delta blues authenticity is otherwise done!
Give it too me let me put some drums on it.

Thanks, Marky: the echoey intro is from the first run-through that I did, the body of the song is take V, and the opening bit -- we all know and love that one, which is why it had go on. I did a second version with the "Now I wanna sniff some glue" section added as a coda, but I held that one back because I thought it made the song a bit too long...we'll keep that one on hand for the 50th anniversary, too, I suspect.

Nice piece of work: we could almost subtitle this'un "The Masses Being Hollowed Out Mix," or something along those lines. Given the stats being recited, it seems like "faking it" might be the only option left...

I was working on one more contribution myself when I got caught up in other things -- I'll drop it tomorrow, if I can finish it off the way I like. We'll see how it works out -- it's been a long week.

Looks like I'll be knocking up the artwork to read Chairman Ralph and Marky Dread presents...

OK, Marky (and company), here we go...late entry, but as I mentioned, I was already working on it before I got overtaken by other things...this time around, it's "Life Is Wild," in a stripped down style:

And, once we got that eight ball rolling (the Lucky Eight ball, perhaps?), I went ahead and worked up something a bit chunkier, which you can find here:

Now it's off to bed...and on to other things.

That first take is great with the intro. And I like the attack of track 2.

Will compile all the tracks when I get some time.

Thanks, Marky...by the time I was playing the acoustic, I felt warmed up enough to try it the uptempo way. But I thought it could benefit from a bit more aggression -- which is why it wound up being the only take. Couldn't put my throat through it again!

Hey all, I was just talking to Eummie and he CLAIMS that he hasn't heard the album we all did together (even though he's on the back cover). Can anybody re-up for him (i'm at work now and can't)?

Also, reading through the leadup to the original download link was quite touching. What happened to us?

Thanks! My life at the time was tumultuous & my connection inconstant so I did not hear it. Hell, I don't even remember what I did.
