What the hell was that, Ralph? A Pete Seeger version... that he recorded two days before his death??!!
It's no "We Are The Clash (Deadly Phantom Dub)", but I 'd like to hear the 3.0 version to compare it with.

Lotsa violent imagery in those lyrics, juxtaposed nicely with the use of folksy guitar and American accent. :ugeek:

It's OK I guess but it's not as good as the red cover or the yellow one. But if you are the kind of guy who settles for orange then hey.

By the way that's the rare CtC edition that comes with a free stereo and an ipod.

He doesn't hate the Yanks he was doing them a favor. With that shovel and hammer you smash the album into tiny pieces then bury the fucker.

Thanks. The 3.0 version felt good, too, only the wife came in halfway through to tell me that lunch was ready -- so, unfortunately, it's gotta stay in the archives. Such is life.

Oh, yeah, now there's a thought: The EET Week Players' Silver Anniversary Edition: CTC: Outtakes & Punk Rock Field Recordings. Or something along those lines...

There were 3 separate colour covers to my knowledge. Red, Orange and Yellow (JUST THE BACKGROUND TO THE CUT THE CRAP TITLE). Yours is definitely the Orange one.

And now, it's time once again to round up those hip-hoppers, pun rockers and pill poppers as we pay a visit to the Unreleased Clash Corral with my take on Glue Zombie (DVR Shadow & Fog Mix):

Mine is almost done. We get a little more work done every day. I've become the Brian Wilson of delta blues. The thing is a fucking behemoth of stitched together instrumental sketches and vocal affectations. The one thing I will say is that there's no danger of it falling apart, just continually getting delayed until it's perfect.
Let me know when you absolutely need my parts.
We're getting there. Maybe Wednesday sometime 2017
It's on Matey now. This 2 minute slice of delta blues authenticity is otherwise done!
