Would be great if someone could chronicle The Bonds saga. Probably not enough detail to fill a book.
It would make a brilliant New Journalism-style oral history, if only someone could get all those great and various people who were around the scene and those gigs to talk! We're starting to lose some of them too.
Didn't Snoh have a page dedicated to it somewhere back in the day.
I remember he made that amazing Bonds box Set.

Time to jump-start this thread again with a bit of news: WE ARE THE CLASH is off to the printers later this week, once Mark and I review a final proof copy from Akashic. Baker has written the forward for us, entitled "Jewels From The Wreckage," which will inspire its own share of commentary and appreciation, I suspect.
Publication is supposed to follow during the first week in July, so I can safely say, we're finally across the finish line. In hindsight, I suspect the original udea (Summer 2013) proved a tad optimistic, for various boring reasons that I don't need to elaborate, but that's neither here nor there.
The first events are confirmed for Friday, July 6, at Politics & Prose (Washington, DC) and Tuesday, July 10, at Word (Brooklyn, NY). More cities and events will be announced as we sort out the details.
It's been a long time, certainly, since this effort started, but -- as I've stated -- it'll be well worth the wait. Enjoy the postcards -- just a sampling of what I did for our KS campaign -- and, like the sleeve says, thanks to all who joined in.
