A Short Essay on Give 'Em Enough Rope

by Flex Flexerson

I. Introduction/Statement of Purpose

In this paper, I will prove GEER is the best Clash album.

II. Body/Evidence

Give 'Em Enough Rope is the best Clash album because all the songs are perfect. By the transitive properties, GEER is thus a perfect album. All other Clash albums* have deficiencies of various seriousness. The only thing that might be better than GEER** is battle dolphin - and that's not a Clash album.

[To prove this, I got the opinion of noted GEER expert eumaas, who said, "The power of semen is astonishing."]

III. Conclusion

GEER is the best. Better than London Calling, self titled, Sandinista, Combat Rock, Cut the Crap, or (Super) Black Market Clash.

The End.

If I was your teacher/prof, I'd have to heavily deduct points for egregious inaccuracies.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Looks like somebody doesn't believe in the power of semen.

This is a rarity - one of the only arguments in classical logic where even defensible attacks on the premise do nothing to disturb the concrete truth of the conclusion. WORD.

Cheapskates is a great song.

I like it better than Death or Glory.

The guitar solo in Cheapskates makes up for the rest of the song lacking something.
