This is something im interested in...but im a bit dim at these things...how did the drums, bass etc...get there?

Did the drums in Fruity Loops, ran them through a compressor and added some reverb (on LR and CC) in Cubase. All the fancy guitar distortion/effects/whatnot are from Guitar Rig running as a plugin through Cubase. The bass on LR and CC is also just a guitar put through a bassifying setting on Guitar Rig. It's actually loads of fun, and one of the only things I miss about running a PC instead of a Mac.
