I'm more excited about getting kicked in the nuts than a S! re-issue. Maybe if there was something of value on it, but I don't see it happening.TJM wrote:Wow. Anybody else more excited about this than the S! re-issue? Can't wait.

Re: Scottish bootlegs
About the sexy chick band: Nah, not the Slits or Raincoats. It's The Lous he's thinking of. They were on the same tour for support along with The Voidoids. *Very sexy indeed. And a great girl band. Who says there wasn't too much all-girl bands then who couldn't rock? Info from www.punk77.co.uk about them:
" The Lous from Robin Banks Zigzag 79 December 77. The Lous were a French all girl band who supported the Clash on one of their tours. Here's a brief description of the atmosphere women could face onstage. 'They made their British debut at Dunfermline...as I've already explained, there has been some adverse reaction to the band from British audiences ( mainly at Sheffield, where I saw them pelted with glasses and gob throughout their set)...' "
And I'm interested in hearing those Jam and Damned shows too! Thanks a bunch for all these shows man, you rock!
EDIT: *added more about The Lous.

Yeah, I'm still holding out hope on the reissue. Someday they will have to shock us with the quality and value of one of these things. LC 25 was good. I want more unheard unseen stuff. Thankfully new boots keep turning up.Kory wrote:I'm more excited about getting kicked in the nuts than a S! re-issue. Re: Scottish bootlegs
Don't want to pour cold water here, but we've been promised recordings of scottish shows before when the old board was running, especially the Rude Boy Glasgow gig in particular which turned out to be fake. Just hope this guy's genuine.

I've never ever heard of this band and can't find any information about them existing except for that website. Are there any recordings known to exist?ImSoBoredWithTheUSA wrote:About the sexy chick band: Nah, not the Slits or Raincoats. It's The Lous he's thinking of. More written information: (Not really information just a mention) In Lester Bang's section about The Clash in "Let Fury Have The Hour: The Punk Rock Politics of Joe Strummer" by Antonino D'Ambrosio, an article which originally appeared somewhere else, he mentions them. Funny part, he says something how about the lead singer was jumping around like a dog with a weird face...Billy Joel wrote:I've never ever heard of this band and can't find any information about them existing except for that website. More info on their music: I have no idea, been looking forever. Even SoulSeek shows no results either.

Adamant/adamantine is a mythological metal...
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .
