Had an idea for a UK Subs style song today called the Ballad of Terry Chimes

Click crack
I'll fix your back
They called me Tory Crimes
My name is Terry Chimes

I wanted a red Lamborghini
They were gonna change the world
Were never gonna see me
My dream has unfurled
The world is still the same
You will remember my name

I've been bitten by the dog
Living high on the hog
Went on the Anarchy tour
Hope your spine isn't sore
I came back in '83
Cos smack wasn't for me

Click... Crack...

And so on

I thought it was an e-type.
No it was a Lamborghini it had to rhyme with Mussolini.

Max Boot confirms the awful of Combat Rock by regarding it as worth citing:
"Should I stay or should I go now?" That question, posed by the eminent political philosophers known as The Clash, is one that confronts any Republican with a glimmer of conscience. You used to belong to a conservative party with a white-nationalist fringe. Now it's a white-nationalist party with a conservative fringe. If you're part of that fringe, what should you do?

Well, I'm thoroughly enjoying my Clash tour of London. Today I crossed off Rehearsals (plus the location of the first album cover, obviously), and Wilmcote House (plus the Westway, obviously). It's much better doing this stuff with my wife who will put up with it, rather than the friend I was here with last time.

Visit the place they recorded a lot of Rat Patrol, I could feel the vibes coming off the place but I was a bit stoned...

Not the worst book I've ever read.
